Do you know the Namifiers story?

Pivotal Points In Namifiers History

Inevitably, in the acquaintances of life, you will get asked about your line of work thousands of times.

Yes, we namify cool stuff for people everywhere, but there is a richer history to know and tell: key decisions and milestones from our story that help explain our applaudable growth.

2002 – Hug the Internet
After just a year from our founding as The Nametag Source, we recognized the short and long-term potential of the Internet for our industry, while most of our competitors remained skeptical.  Nametagsource.com became the pioneering web store for personal identification.

2003 – Climb Supply Chain
For the first 2-1/2 years, we worked with domestic wholesalers for our goods and materials. This allowed us to be fast, something that our target market was beginning to value more, but knowing that volume determined our bottom line, we began to engineer our own offering and inventory, thereby replacing the wholesalers and becoming even faster and fiscally smart.

2005 – Compartmentalize Growth Tasks
In 2005, we further delineated responsibilities and reporting by department, in order to free up the executive leadership to perfect our processes, using principles of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma.

2006 – Switch from Personal Identification to Brand Manufacturing
By 2006, only 28% of our annual revenue was coming from Nametags.  The remainder came from listening to the customers and implementing aggressive solutions for the other products they needed to brand themselves.  Our evolved offering called for an evolved name change; we were now in the business of namifying a lot of “cool stuff for people everywhere”.  We officially made the change to Namifiers, LLC and launched a database-driven, online store that integrated our company knowledge base.

2009 – 50,000,000 Manufactured Pieces and 100,000 Customers Served
These two milestones resonate more sweetly when knowing they came after 8 years in the business, while many acclaimed manufacturers have taken 20+ years to build a similar resume.  The accomplishments are a testament of the tireless leadership of our CEO and work of our company family through the years.

2010 – Accelerate:  User Experience and Channel Sales
We have an established offering and a customer base that appreciates our ability to quickly take away their branding problems.  Going forward, we will perfect the user experience across the board and broaden our influence exponentially through Channel Sales, or niche industries.

2010 Namifiers New Billboard Campaign

http://www.whynamify.com/blog/billboard.gif

New Billboard Campaign
Last year, Namifiers grabbed up some local attention with a semi-silly billboard ad featuring a Rubber Chicken (displayed along I-15 and also on South State Street in Provo.  Many of you have mentioned getting comments from friends and associates about the ad.  We will continue to display this year, but the message of 2010 is a bolder, confident one.  In a time of uncertainty, we plow forward, committed to growth and being the very best at what we do.  Those who frequent Utah Valley should know that they have a gem in their backyard with Namifiers.

Meet Greg Thredgold: Over 20 Years of Experience in Customer Helping

http://www.whynamify.com/blog/gregthredgold.jpgMeet Greg Thredgold

An enthusiast for helping customers.

Take a moment to meet Greg Thredgold, a new colleague and customer advocate here at Namifiers.

Greg joined our team on March 1st and brings over 20 years of experience in Customer Helping, his preferred outlook for viewing clients.  His responsibilities will anchor in sound principles of service to unify and bolster our inbound sales force.

Greg grew up nearby in Ogden, Utah and developed a love for golf, photography, and other pastimes. After serving an LDS mission to Columbus, Ohio, he furthered his hobby of photography professionally, and also began work in the hospitality industry.  Since that time, he has played a role in several success stories involving implementation and expansion of customer service programs.

Greg has been a resident of Springville for the last 10 years and is now excited to wrap his passion for the art of “customer helping” around our existing vision and help Namifiers continue to push the industry standard up and out of reach.

Family:   He and his wife, Cindy, have four sons.

Personal Motto:   Excellent customer service is whatever the customer thinks it is.

“You’ll Never Believe It” Moment:  As a newlywed, Greg worked at a hotel in Ohio and had the unique experience of bringing room service to Bill Cosby.  Bill answered the door in his underwear, just as funny and casual as we can imagine Bill Cosby to be.  Greg received a $20 tip.
