To finish off Healthy Living Month at Namifers in August, several of our team members gathered to take on the 5K challenge in Mapleton. To make it extra challenging … Rachel Hair was 5 months pregnant, Dave Sneddon ran the whole race in jeans, and Brad Gasaway pushed his 2 kids in a jogging stroller. Way to go team!

Here are some simple, yet profound health tips: Exercise: The greatest health benefits come from exercising most days of the week, even if you need to start by breaking down your exercise sessions into 10-minute per day (and rest on Sunday :).
Balanced Nutrition: Here’s the simple rule … Try to eat 7 different colors per meal (not including candy or other sweets of course). Nature has almost color-coded the different nutrients your body needs already.
Losing Weight: All fad diets aside, if you take in twice as many grams of protein as you do carbohydrates, then generally you will lose weight. But don’t forget your 7-color rule.
