Namifiers Passes 100,000 Customers

Springville, UT – 05 August 2009 – Last week, U.S. based Namifiers LLC reached an impressive small-business milestone of 100,000 clients served since its founding in 2001.

Led by acclaimed entrepreneur Bryan Welton, Jr., Namifiers offers direct services in digital printing, screen printing, engraving, embroidery, and custom assembly.  Annually, the company produces and ships nearly 18 million pieces to a customer base that spans 12 countries.  Their flagship products include name tags, ID systems, lanyards, vinyl signs, corporate apparel, and promotional giveaways.

Welton, only 32 years of age, is credited with several pioneering efforts in the identification industry, particularly in the areas of e-commerce and search engine optimization.

“We began this company in 2001,” said Welton, “but I came into the industry after working in the search engine optimization (SEO) field. Through a few family members and friends, I learned of a small engraving shop with good equipment doing mostly local business.  I approached them and offered my SEO services to take their business to the next level online,” he continued.

“At that time, people were still scared about doing business online in this industry.  The sense was that the customer wanted to touch and feel {the product}.  But we launched an agreement with them in 2001, and a few years later we ended up buying the company and acquired a few companies along the way.  In 2004 we came to what is now our current force.”

In addition to their online presence, word-of-mouth business has been a major contributing factor to their growing clientele.

“Our objective with every account is to make the customer feel that they have an inside, go-to team when it comes to personalizing their stuff,” says Nick Vance, Vice President of Sales.  “Buyers have enough stress as it is, so we consolidate their experience and save them up to 30% by doing it all right here in-house.  Those lifelong customers are our best sales people.”

North Babylon Union Free School District, out of New York State, was officially tallied as the 100,000th customer account.  In celebration, Namifiers presented them with a $500.00 in-store gift card.

Blue Level Award Tracker For Top Sales Executives

Blue Level Award Tracker – As you may know, the “Blue Level Award” is the coveted trophy of the Sales Department, given out each Monday to an Account Executive that demonstrates outstanding performance in the prior week.  Not only does the recipient get bragging rights and display privileges for the duration of their championship, but they are entitled to hefty Gift Card Prizes for every week that they win. To the right take a look at the tallies for 2009 so far.

On a side note, the sales executives wouldn’t be able to excel without the help of operations. So, here’s a shout out to them!

Tony and Abraham are doing a fantastic job of keeping up with the banners. One customer commented on how fabulous their banners were, how quickly they received them, and that they were half the price of Kinkos!

Keep up the good work men! – Tyler Kimball.

August Employee of the Month

Congratulations to Michelle for being selected as our Employee of the Month for the month of August.  Michelle is our lead proofer in the Graphics Department and has been with Namifiers for 3 months now. She was born here in Utah, but lived in numerous locations before coming to the Provo area; Montana is still “home” for her.  As such, it’s no surprise that all her favorite pastimes have to do with the outdoors…hiking, fishing, etc. Fun Facts: One of her nicknames is “Odis”.  You’ll have to ask her about it.
Self-Description in 5 words or less:  Fun Loving, Tall, Quirky

Tips for Life: The Fox and the Grapes

Tips for Life:  The Fox and the Grapes By:  Tyler Kimball —- I recall the classic tale of the fox and the grapes… – A fox sees some juicy ripe grapes dangling from a vine and leaps to get them. After several unsuccessful attempts, the fox walks away, proclaiming the grapes were probably sour anyway. He chose to deceive himself into settling for something less without reaching his goal. How many times do we declare “sour grapes” because we don’t obtain a goal? — If we are honest with ourselves, we know that it will almost always take multiple approaches to reach these desires. Rather than give up, though, we could learn to make a ladder, or ask a friend for help. After all, our true desires are the ones we obtain.  Those grapes are all the sweeter, and the next time you want more, you will have more tools and experience to obtain them more easily.

50,000,000 Pieces Reached!

As of August 1, 2009 Namifiers has sold and shipped over 49,000,000 pieces since the company was founded in 2001.
When Bryan and Jenny Welton started the business, it was largely a local, nametag-specific store.  After  two years, Bryan pioneered their efforts online with the company’s very first website http://www.nametagsource.com  Not only did this attract more regional and national attention, but it generated exponential feedback on customer needs, which led to other product lines such as lanyards, badge accessories, signs, and embroidery.
That tiny home-based business has burst into the leading manufacturer of identification and branding products in America.  And today, we have our sites on the 50-million-piece mark, and we are anxious to double that in the next few years.
Thank you for helping us continually set the standard in our industry.
