U.S. manufacturer, Namifiers LLC, received the coveted curtain call from Inc. Magazine by being selected to the 2008 Inc. 5000 list of America’s fastest growing private companies. One year ago, Namifiers broke its first rankings with a four-year growth curve of 468%, enough to place them #39 for Business Services and #717 overall. The collecting curiosity regarding the official 2008 Inc rankings will be satisfied later this month, when press announcements release through inc.com and Inc Magazine.
Peculiar amid the throng of accountants and consultants in the Business Services category, Namifiers is one of the foremost suppliers of identification and promotional products to businesses throughout North America. Their online position allows them to nationally push the spectrum of ad specialties (name tags and accessories, office signs, banners and decals, screen printed apparel, embroidery, corporate gifts and promotional swag) and effectively offer a one-stop super shop for the branding products that companies see and use everyday. Their appeal stems from direct, in-house service, backed with a Same-Day Production mentality.
Namifiers operates under the direction of CEO and local business phenom Bryan Welton Jr. Once again, Welton is among the youngest CEO’s to enjoy the Inc 5000 honor, having founded the company at the age of 23 and built the growth by the age of 30. Welton accredits much of the success to their culture of listening to the customer and then following through as if every one of them was “the one” that kept them in business.
“When I set out to do this business back in 2001, I readily accepted that I would never have a glory position,” says Welton. “If you walk up to somebody and say, ‘Hi. My name is Bryan, I’m a doctor (or a dentist, or a CPA),’ there’s an instant respect. When you go up to somebody and say, ‘Hi. My name is Bryan, I make nametags (or signs, or print t-shirts) people look at you and smile, and they don’t really understand what you do. So, for me, it is really humbling to know that there are programs out there such as the Inc. 5,000 that will actually take the time to say, ‘Even though this guy just makes widgets, or just makes little parts and pieces, he’s done an amazing amount of things within his industry or organization that most people wouldn’t realize’.”
“One day we’d like to be able to put a name on anything in the world, except we probably won’t do permanent tattoos,” said Welton lightheartedly.
Namifiers is rapidly reaching that objective, and has gained the reputation of being able to “name”-ify anything (personalize an object with a logo or text), all while outperforming domestic and foreign competitors in price and production time.
